November is Gratitude Month

Gratitude is an excellent way to help reduce stress. Having gratitude can actually lower the stress hormone cortisol.

You can start out having gratitude either by

Start each day with a gratitude journal and write the things that you are grateful for. You can write as many things as you are grateful for in one minute each day. You can write paragraphs on the things that you are grateful for. This can be done any time of the day.

Another way is to spend the time in mindfulness. Close your eyes and think about all the things your that you are grateful for.

During the day if you are getting stressed sit back and on one hand think of 5 things that you can be thankful for and if you know someone at work you are grateful for then thank them for things they have done for you.

Try to be consistent with activity. As you do this it will become a part of your routine.
